The Battle of the Most Commercially Marketable
The main event fight will be a nail biting affair between Paige VanZant and Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson. The co-main event will feature the man who conquered CM-Punk in the 1st round Mickey Gall take on Sage Northcutt “the Mark-Paul Gosselaar doppelganger”.
UFC fans will also witness the end of an era from popular martial arts legend Urijah Faber battle against the British veteran Brad Pickett. Faber has already announced this will be his last fight in the Octagon before he hangs up his MMA gloves.
Who is tipped to win?
Paul Craig
Paul is a submission artist who is just on another level from his Brazilian opponent and brawler Jonathan Wilson. The undefeated striker is tipped to secure a submission victory over Wilson, however this being his debut fight in UFC, anything can happen.
Faber’s Last Fight
Will the legend walk out victorious or will be finish his UFC career on a low against Pickett. This will be a fight between the two veterans who are at the finishing line of their careers. Pickett has also announced that he will retire in his home town like the Brazilian. Hopefully Faber will raise his game enough to win in front of his home crown.
Will Paige Prove herself worthy of a Title Shot?
We already know that VanZant is not just a pretty face, and if she is able to beat Waterson, then she will become the strongest contender for the strawweight title fight. And many commentators believe she has what it takes to become a champion.
