David Beckham’s crazy cardio workout and diet

David Beckham is widely known as the best English footballer of this generation. The man has conquered everything there is in the footballing world, his trophy cabinet is full of medals from the English Premier League to La Liga in Spain and from Ligue 1 in France to the MLS in U.S. There’s no one who can counter argue the fact that David Beckham has done it all.

It is not easy to get to the level of Beckham’s legacy, but besides his natural ability with the football, the man has put enough time in the training fields to become the man he is at this point.

Anyone who is looking for low fat and the perfect abs workout, Beckham’s cardio routine is a benchmark to look at. The routine is extremely demanding and should be tried either after the weight training sessions or as a completely standalone workout.

Session 1: 1 mile in 5 minutes with 4 minutes rest. Repeat for 4 sets.

Session 2: 2 x hundred meters sprints with 1 minute rest in between. Repeat for 6 sets.

Session 3: 20 x 30 meters sprints with 1 minute rest in between. Repeat for 25 sets.

Session 4: 60 yards suicides within 20 seconds with 1.5 minutes rest. Repeat for 8 sets.

Session 5: 100 yards suicides within 30 seconds with 1 minute rest in between. Repeat for 5 sets.

Diet Plan:

  • Minimum consumption of fat food items
  • Fish and chicken for proteins
  • Lots of vegetables (cabbage, spinach, soybeans, cauliflower) for minerals and vitamins
  • Avoid corn flakes, white rice and white bread
